Alien Hominid Instruction Manual

Alien Hominid, also known as Alien, the main character from the Alien Hominid series. an alien from another planet who crash landed on planet Earth. He wishes to retrieve his spaceship to go home.

Background[]

Alien Hominid was spotted flying above Earth by FBI. After shooting down, he crashed in a city guarded by FBI, with his ship being broken. A Fat Kid, whose ice cream was stolen, gives Alien Hominid a power-up. He then travels throughout the city, fighting FBI Agents and robots. As he enters the city's park, he see FBI Agents in helicopters trying to take away his spaceship. He defeats the agents and flies away in his ship. However, he is once again confronted by FBI Agents, starting a fight in the air. During the fights, a missile fired at the United States by the Russian government hits Alien Hominid's ship, making him land in Russia. Alien Hominid travels to a space station where his ship is being held by the Russian government, battling against a Russian general's army along the way. After defeating the general, he takes back his ship and flies into space. He is attacked by Russian soldiers once more and captured by the FBI. They put him in a box and try to transfer him to Area 51, but he breaks out his crate. Alien Hominid travels through Area 51's desert and into a secret base. He fights off the FBI's strongest robots before facing off against the Alien Prisoner. During the fight, Alien Prisoner boards his ship, and uses the tractor beam to bring Alien Hominid on board. Alien Hominid defeats Alien Prisoner, causing the ship to explode. Alien Hominid lands back on Area 51 and passes out, he is then picked up by a group of Fat Kids, who stole an FBI vehicle. They return him to his ship, and as he flies into space, the Fat Kids are being chased by the FBI. To show his graditude, Alien Hominid uses his ship's tractor beam to rescue them, moving the Fat Kids out of harm's way.

Newgrounds Rumble-Unable to communicate with the natives of the Newgrounds world, Alien Hominid was instantly viewed as a threat. If they won't give him a chance, he'll have to speak the universal language of biting their skulls in half.

Newgrounds Rumble[]

Alien Hominid appears as a playable character in Newgrounds Rumble. He uses different weapons from the Alien Hominid game, including his Alien Gun, knife, and grenades. He has a wide attack range and is balanced in power and speed, however, some of his attacks are slow and weak and he has mediocre health. In his story mode, he is once again trying to rebuild his ship, while fending off against the hostile civilians of Newgrounds. He attacks Salad Fingers after landing in Newgrounds. In his second fight, he tracks down Alloy, who has a suit with similar alien technology as his own species. Alien Hominid tries to break it down for spare parts for his ship. Afterwards, he manages to translate language to discover a stereotype that "the narrow-eyed ones" are able to build advanced technology. He finds Nene, who attacks him in retribution. In his final fight, Alien Hominid is annoyed at being repeatedly attacked, so he targets Samurai Asshole, who has become a threat to Newgrounds, to gain Newgrounds' support. In his ending, Alien Hominid uses the resources as the new ruler of Newgrounds to rebuild his ship. If the image of Alien Hominid rebuilding his ship is clicked, the ship will fall on him. The text will now say "Whoopsies." while the ship has the acronym "LOL" appear on it.

Third Quick Attack, first Fierce Attack Alien Hominid bites his foes. Alien Hominid (2002) This is based off of Alien Hominid's Freak Attack, which would have him jumping on foes at biting their heads off.
Second Fierce attack Alien Hominid throws a grenade in front of himself. Alien Hominid (2004) Alien Hominid could use grenades as a weapon towards his enemies or to destroy obstacles in the 2004 console version.
Gun Powerup, third Fierce attack Alien Hominid shoots energy beam from his gun. Alien Hominid (2002)/Alien Hominid (2004) Alien Hominid's default gun attack. The appearance of the beam is based on how it looked in the console version of Alien Hominid

Meat Boy (map pack)[]

Alien Hominid appears as a secret character in Meat Boy (map pack). He is unlocked after collecting 20 Bandaids.

Castle Crashers[]

Alien Hominid appears as a hidden character and as a enemy type in Castle Crashers. They appear in the Alien Ship level. A dead Alien appears in the Necromancer's Room level, and van be brought back to life by the Necromancer. Unlike other enemies, the Aliens lack melee weapons and use the Alien Gun as a projectile attack. Similar to Alien Hominid in the original game, they only have 1 HP. In the Playstation 3, PC versions, and Remastered release of Castle Crashers, he is unlocked after beating the Alien Ship level. In the Xbox 360 version, he is unlocked if the player has gotten an Achievement in Alien Hominid HD, an updated port of the console video game. Similar to the enemy Aliens, the playable Alien has 1 HP and can only use the Alien Gun weapon. While the majority of his abilities in Castle Crashers are based on his gun's shooting capabilities, his appearance also references Alien Hominid's health system, the grenade items, and the sections of the game where Alien Hominid controls a UFO.

The sound effect of Alien Hominid shooting the gun is taken from the 2002 flash game, which was reused in the 2004 console game.
Tractor Beam (Magic Jump) A light beams on Alien Hominid and lifts him up Alien Hominid (2004) At various point in the game, Alien Hominid could retrieve his ship. A mini-game would play where the player pilots the ship and uses a tractor beam to lift up foes, killing them when they hit the top of his ship.

Super Meat Boy[]

Alien Hominid appears as a playable character in Super Meat Boy. He can be unlocked by getting 30 bandages. His special ability is shooting downward to increase his jumping height.

BattleBlock Theater[]

Alien Hominid makes a cameo appearance in BattleBlock Theater. If the player owns both Alien Hominid and BattleBlock Theater on the Xbox 360, a Prisoner based on Alien Hominid is unlocked when one achievement in Alien Hominid is completed. It was available from 08/07/2014 until 08/10/2014 as DLC. Like the other Prisoners, he was a fellow crewmate and friend of Hatty Hattington. He was captured by the Cat Guards and was forced to entertain them in the BattleBlock Theater.

Alien Hominid also makes two cameo appearances in the game. He appears as a stick puppet next to The Behemoth logo when starting up the game, and in the ending, where the Alien Ship he is piloting gets destroyed by a laser beam fired by Hatty Hattington. [2]
