CyberPitz, also known as Robo-Doggies, are characters from the Alloy series. They are robots created by SumoCorp that resemble pit bulls. Mass produced by SumoCorp, they were created to cause havoc in Mason City and defeat Alloy.
Background[]
CyberPitz were designed by SumoCorp, a technology company within Mason City, led by SumoSam.[1] The company previously attempted to control Mason City's police force using their Recoil Project, which deployed their robot, Recoil, in the city. Recoil was created by reverse engineering the Alien's suit. SumoCorp is attempting to safeguard their public image by separating themselves from the Recoil Project. However, they are secretly continuing to develop Recoil, sending him out to Alloy to test his abilities and reveal Alloy's identity.[2]
CyberPitz make a brief appearance in the Alloy pilot, introduced as one of the antagonists Alloy has to face. Their design is slightly different, with purple colored legs. In addition, they were prominently showcased in MindChamber's games, Recoil and Alloy: Arena, where they are featured as enemies. In Recoil, they attack by tackling the player. In Alloy: Arena, their attack patterns are expanded upon. When they appear, they search the area for Alloy, and attack by biting him. Alternate versions of CyberPitz are also present, including ShadowPitz, which are colored blue, faster, and attack by scratching; WarPitz, which are green, slower, and fire a machine gun from their mouths; TundraPitz, which are white, the fastest, and can stretch their necks for a long-ranged bite attack; and FirePitz, which are the smallest, orange, and attack by tackling opponents while setting themselves ablaze.
CyberPitz were supposed to appear in the Alloy video game, where they appear as enemies. Like in Alloy: Arena, they attack by biting. In the story, they were being transported by a SumoCorp truck, but broke out when the truck was overturned. Alloy takes immediate measures to prevent the CyberPitz from causing harm to the residents of Mason City.
Mason's Bubble Blast 2[]
CyberPitz, referred to as Robo-Doggies, appear as enemies in Mason's Bubble Blast 2. In the game's prologue, Queen Peanut is seeking revenge against Mason. After capturing him at the Ferrets' Secret Hide Out, she has her subordinates deploy the Robo-Doggies to attack Mason. They appear in the first level, charging at Mason to attack him. Touching the Robo-Doggies causes damage to Mason. When Mason uses his bubble blaster to defeat fifteen Robo-Doggies, the player completes the level.
