The second call features Hannibal Buress talking to Flying Lotus, expressing his annoyance that the soda company Sprunk is trying to reach out to him on the social media website Bleeter is attempting to contact him via the social networking platform Bleeter. In the final call, he talks to Hannibal Buress again, who is dissatisfied with his pay for his job, and would rather work on the reality TV show Fame or Shame, and then announces he is quitting his job for Flying Lotus.

Additional FlyLo FM dialogue was added in Grand Theft Auto Online's content update, The Cayo Perico Heist. During the first session, Flying Lotus enlisted Tierra Whack as a replacement for Hannibal Buress, who had resigned as the guest DJ. Whack firmly insists that she will not resign like Buress, but she asks Flying Lotus to arrange for Thundercat to go to the Clucking Bell and purchase a chicken sandwich for her during her shift.

In the second session, Flying Lotus introduces a new guest DJ, Tierra Whack, who took over for Hannibal Buress after he quit. Whack is adamant that she won't quit like Buress, but requests Flying Lotus to send Thundercat to the Cluckin' Bell to buy a chicken sandwich for her while she's working. Zack Fox briefly appears during the sixth call to promote FlyLo FM. During the sixth conversation, Whack explains that she obtained marijuana from Barry and recounts an incident in which she alleges to have encountered an alien. Flying Lotus has enlisted Whack to provide a report from her location on the tenth call, namely from her visit to The Music Locker. Whack has ingested a synthetic drug and is experiencing intense euphoria. She returns to The Music Locker to continue dancing, but not before expressing her affection for Flying Lotus, which catches him off guard.

Jerry Jackson's FM[]

Flying Lotus held a real world segment called Jerry Jackson's FM on BBC Radio 1. On the February 12th, 2015[1] broadcast, he grants Jerry Jackson permission to take control of the radio station, affording him the opportunity to assume the role of the host. Jerry and his friend Jon discuss the events of their day, and read Tweets addressed to them. Upon the conclusion of their podcast, Jerry attempts to take over as the BBC Radio 1 host. However, Flying Lotus calmly stops him, though he lets Jerry resume his hosting after the break.

The Eric Andre Show[]

Flying Lotus appeared in the Season 4 episode "Howie Mandel; Malaysia Pargo". He is the focus of the sketch "Flying Lotus Checks His E-Mails". As the episode ends, Eric Andre announces Flying Lotus to the stage. To see his emails, Flying Lotus taps the keyboards on a pair of laptops in a manner similar to that of a DJ controller. As he types, Andre and Hannibal Buress nod and dance in time to the rhythm as he types on the keyboards, as if he were performing an actual song. The two scream as Flying Lotus continues to play, joined in by Snakey, who plays the guitar. Flying Lotus is interrupted by Hannibal's Brother, who yells at him for being too loud. He then knocks a laptop to the ground and repeatedly punches the table in anger.

YOLO[]

Flying Lotus appears in the Season 1 episode "A Very Extremely Very Yolo Christmas: Reloaded". After the cruise ship they were on was destroyed by a giant crocodile, Rachel and Sarah arrive at The Beach, where they are greeted by the Beach People, a group of people native to the area. Sarah explains their situation to them, and the two get invited to their Cool Cave for a concert. After the Beach People's performance, the host introduces Flying Lotus. While he states he's not sure how he got to the beach, he performs some new songs he's been working on for the audience. As he begins to play, Crocodile 2 interrupts him, yelling at the audience to remain quiet. Sarah asks him if he was the crocodile she saw on the ship, but he claims that the crocodile she saw was Crocodile 1, who resides in Crocodile Town. Sarah claims that she feels she missed an opportunity to begin a relationship with him and that she has to meet him. Although Crocodile 2 prefers not to visit Crocodile Town, he has the Beach People reveal a hole that descends more into the cave, where Crocodile Town is. Although the two are hesitant to descend the pit, Crocodile 2 pushes them down. Eager to take part in their journey, Flying Lotus joins them. When the group gets to Crocodile Town, they see the find Crocodile 1, unmoving. The Frog Guardian stops them as they get closer to Crocodile 1 instructs them to enter through his mouth and to locate his heart. Sarah notices Flying Lotus flirt with a female crocodile, and asks him if he is accompanying them, to which he tells her to go on without him as he continues to talk to her. While inside the crocodile, Sarah and Rachel reach a crossroad that leads either to the heart or the stomach. Sarah explains that she needs to find Crocodile 1, as she is in love with him, and Rachel inadvertently reveals her intention to steal her grandmother's rubies, which Crocodile 1 had previously eaten. Rachel subsequently attempts to retract her comment.

The two part ways, with Rachel discovering the rubies in the stomach, while Sarah finds the crocodile's heart and confesses her feelings. Crocodile 1 explains that he wrecked the ship in order to get Sarah closer to him. The heart invites Sarah to come to him so they may become one, saying they were destined to be together. While Rachel uses the blade to pry the rubies from the stomach's walls, Sarah reaches out to touch the heart. Rachel accidentally pierces Crocodile 1's heart as she stabs through the bag, causing both Crocodile 1 and the cave to explode. After landing on the beach with Sarah and the Beach People. The Beach People are furious with the girls for destroying their cave, and threaten to kill them, with Flying Lotus drawing his swords. As the group approaches them, Sarah and Rachel tremble in fear. They are interrupted by a text message from Sarah's parents, informing them that it is time for their Christmas lunch. The Beach People let them go, and start to walk away. Sarah stops them and extends an invitation to lunch. At Sarah's house, Flying Lotus tells the Beach People how much he cares for them, then one of the Beach People thanks Sarah's family for letting them come to their Christmas lunch; however, Sarah's father strikes the Beach Person with his hand, causing him to be crushed.
