The higher your level, the more your votes impact the scores of submissions!

NG Lollipop is an item from the Newgrounds series. It is a symbol of the amount of experience points a Newgrounds user has. It has been used as an icon to indicate that the user has a low voting power.

Background

Starting in 1999, a ranking system and icon would appear on a Newgrounds user's account. By voting on Newgrounds submissions up to five times a day, a user could gain Grounds Gold, which was changed to Experience Points in 2007. As a user accumulates more Experience Points, their level will increase. A user's rank would change into a different weapon icon, and users with a higher rank will have greater influence when voting on submissions.[2]

The NG Lollipop has been used to indicate a user with a low level. It was originally implemented to represent users with a level 1 rank. The 2007 redesign of the Newgrounds website changed the NG Lollipop to a level 2 rank. It was changed back to a level 1 rank following the 2014 redesign.

Castle Crashers

NG Lollipop appears as a DLC weapon in Castle Crashers. In the original release of the game, the NG Lollipop could be unlocked upon purchasing the King Pack or Pink Knight Pack. In the console version of Castle Crashers Remastered, it is unlocked upon starting the game for the first time. For the PC version, it is unlocked if the Pink Knight Pack is purchased.

In both the original and Remastered versions of Castle Crashers, NG Lollipop has +5 agility, increasing run speed and damage dealt from arrows. The Required Level to use it is level 1, so it is automatically available for all players upon starting the game or purchasing the DLC packs.
