Piconjo is a character from the Piconjo series. He is an adversary of Newgrounds who thinks of the site as a dictatorship, and tries to rebel against it by submitting poorly made flash animations. He is a rival to animator LegendaryFrog.

Background

According to Piconjo, he was once friends with animator LegendaryFrog. Allegedly, he assisted LegendaryFrog with the popular animation FF Tribute - Chocobo Mix. LegendaryFrog did not credit Piconjo, resulting in a falling out. From then on, Piconjo mocked LegendaryFrog and other popular Newgrounds users in his flash animations.

Piconjo as a Newgrounds user has submitted 248 Flash animations. Many of them are poorly animated, and often depict Piconjo fighting a large group of enemies, usually ninjas. He frequently targets LegendaryFrog, Pikanjo, creators of the Epic Kirby series, and Wade Fulp, the brother of Newgrounds creator Tom Fulp and Newgrounds forum moderator. In the Wadolf Saga series, Wade Fulp is portrayed as evil dictator Wadolf, with LegendaryFrog by his side as a loyal follower. Piconjo stands as the only opposition of Wadolf's dominance over Newgrounds.

In his PICONJO CONFESSION series, he discloses background information about these events, such as his former friendship with LegendaryFrog. In the final episode, he reveals that he is dying of a kidney disease and needs a kidney transplant.

After his 15 year disappearance, he made a return on the Newgrounds BBS in 2021. He revealed that he was trapped in an alternate reality, endlessly fighting an army of LegendaryFrog's minions called Toadies. He announced that June 9th would be "Piconjo Day", a day which would be themed around him. He continues to make poor quality animations, and his current target of mockery is the Friday Night Funkin' fandom.

Newgrounds Rumble

Piconjo is a playable character in Newgrounds Rumble. He's an overall balanced character with strong attacks, but his attacks are slow and his Gun projectile attack is weak. He uses his giant sword in the majority of his attacks. Piconjo was given a a more humanoid redesign in Newgrounds Rumble. He wishes to destroy Newgrounds once and for all. In his first fight, he has to take out P-Bot, who guards the portal. He discovers that Nene and Tankman are in a secret relationship, and decides to kill two powerful figureheads at the same time. Piconjo learns about Alloy, a new Newgrounds hero with an alien suit, and decides to catch him off guard at a convince store. In the final battle, Piconjo finds Newgrounds' greatest heroes, Alien Hominid and Pico, in a meat locker. He kills them to finally overcome Newgrounds. In his ending, Piconjo has slain all protectors of Newgrounds. This marks the start of the end of Newgrounds and the beginning of a new era of chaos as Piconjo slaughters the citizens of Newgrounds.

Piconjo's original stick figure appearance makes a cameo in the Options menu if the player has reached 100% game completion. When clicked on, Piconjo will say "Attenshun NGR Paytrin, Piconjer is nawt the meen villin this gaim showd him 2 b. Piconjo luffs j00. Just bremembr this."

On Piconjo's Newgrounds user page, he has expressed his hatred of his appearance in Newgrounds Rumble. He has referred to this depiction of him as an imposter, nicknaming him "Buttchamber". MindChamber, the Artist of Newgrounds Rumble who designed Piconjo's design in the game, apologized to Piconjo for creating the confusion, explaining Piconjo's portrayal in the game was not out of disrespect.
